Telecommuting is when an employee(s) works from a remote location associated with the home office. The remote location can be a local coffee shop, a hotel room, and most commonly inside the employee’s home. There are two types of Telecommuting employees: Part Time and Full Time. Part time telecommuting employees will spend anywhere between 2-4 days at the home office and then work the other days in the main office.
